2007 Commercial Rehabilitation Request For Proposals
The RWHRA is currently taking applications for the 2007 Commercial Rehabilitation Request For Proposals.
Program Criteria:
- Amount available - $100,000 (maximum request is $50,000 per project)
- Requires 1:1 cash match from applicant
- Target areas are Downtown Red Wing and the Historic Old West Main Street district (other area requests will be considered on an individual basis)
- Funds can be used for building renovation, rehabilitation, energy needs, signage improvements, and possible equipment needs
- Features below market interest rate (4%) and flexible repayment terms
- All requests must be in compliance with the City of Red Wing Comprehensive Plan and all Planning/Zoning regulations
Recoverable Planning Grant Program
- Up to $5,000 available for early predevelopment activities in conjunction with commercial development
- Requires 1:1 cash match from applicant
- Eligible projects include: business plans, market feasibility assessments, site analysis, site design, etc.
